Karina Stewart, co-founder of Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa, was named "Spa Personality of the Year" at the AsiaSpa Awards 2009. The awards were announced at AsiaSpa magazine?s awards ceremony, held in Hong Kong´s Armani Bar.

This year?s awards ceremony comes just a month after Kamalaya won the coveted Crystal Award for Favorite Spa in Asia in the SpaFinder Readers Choice Awards. These awards also named Kamalaya Favorite Spa in Thailand, as well as one of the top ten spas in the world in each of the Best for Mind-Body-Spirit, Best Medical Program, Best for Weight Loss and Best for Yoga categories.
